$50K Fraud: Ex-Employee In Rensselaer County Used Company Credit Card For Over Year, Police Say A Capital Region woman has been charged with alleged grand larceny for using a company credit for personal items. Rensselaer County resident Kimberly A. Neumann, age 53, of Troy, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Capital Region Man Killed By Trooper After Pulling Gun, Police Say A distraught man from the region who threatened self-harm was shot and killed by New York State troopers after allegedly pulling a gun. The incident occurred in Saratoga County around 4 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, on Route 9 in the parking lot of Bethel Saratoga in Saratoga Springs. State Trooper From Region Suspended Without Pay After Being Accused Of Robbery A New York State Trooper has been suspended without pay following his arrest for an alleged robbery in the region. The arrest occurred in Sullivan County in the village of Liberty on Tuesday, Aug. 13, for an incident in 2023.
