Driver Accused In String Of Antisemitic Threats Around Long Island Injures Officer, Police Say A man is accused in a string of threats and antisemitic remarks targeting random people around Long Island. Nassau County Police said detectives were informed of two separate disturbances in Cedarhurst at around 1:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.  The first happened near Lincoln Street and Oakland Avenue, and the second occurred near Barrett Road and Washington Avenue. In both cases, witnesses said a man driving a Lexus pulled up and made verbal threats and antisemitic remarks to numerous people before driving away.
