The incident happened in Roslyn Heights, in the westbound lanes near exit 29, at around 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5. Husband, Wife Killed In Melville Crash Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle midday Long Island crash. It happened just after 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, in Melville. Fred Goldberg, age 92, was driving a 2022 Acura eastbound on Ruland Road when he lost control of the vehicle and veered through traffic, crossing a grass median on the northwest corner of the intersection of Pinelawn Road, according to Suffolk County Police.
