Rensselaer County resident Darren Miller, of Grafton, died Saturday, Oct. 1, at the age of 35, according to his obituary.  State police said Miller was working at R.J. Valente Gravel in Grafton at around 8:15 a.m. when a piece of equipment fell and struck him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
