Man With 19 Arrests Caught Again In Hudson Valley With Stolen Property, Cops Say A man on parole with 19 prior arrests and five convictions has been nabbed again for allegedly stealing property. Tobi C. Tobin, age 54, homeless, was arrested on Monday, April 29, in Ulster County in the town of Lloyd for criminal possession of stolen property. According to Chief James Janso of the Lloyd Police Department, Tobin was found in possession of a stolen Trek Mountain bike and a stolen Samsung tablet.  Tobin had previously been arrested by Lloyd Police on Saturday, April 20, for criminal trespass and again on Thursday, April 25, for trespass, Janso said. Developing: 15 Protestors Charged After Closing Down Bridge In Hudson Valley New York State Police arrested 15 people during a protest calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict after they shut down parts of a major highway and a bridge.  The incident occurred in Dutchess County on I-84 and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge around 8 a.m., Monday, April 15. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, the bridge was closed for approximately 45 minutes for state police to clear the bridge and detain the protestors. Sullivan County resident Jhakem Degroat, age 31, of Monticello was arrested for the fourth time in Liberty on Friday, Oct. 13, said Chief Steven D’Agata of the Liberty Police. Teen Duo Nabbed For Vandalizing Vehicle Parked At Residence In Region, Police Say Two teenagers are facing charges after police said they vandalized a vehicle that was parked in a driveway in the region. Troopers in Albany County responded to a home in Guilderland at about 12:50 p.m. on Friday, April 22, after the homeowner reported that their vehicle was vandalized, according to New York State Police. Investigators determined that two suspects rummaged through the vehicle during the overnight hours and used a Sharpie marker to graffiti the interior and exterior of the vehicle.
