Suspect Nabbed In Late-Night Stabbing Near Capital Region Park Police have arrested a suspect in an overnight stabbing attack near a park in the region. The incident happened at around 2:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in Albany near Central Avenue and Henry Johnson Boulevard, steps from Townsend Park. When officers arrived, they found a 42-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to his lower back, according to Albany Police. He was taken by ambulance to Albany Medical Center Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
