4 Shot, 1 Critically, In Hudson Valley During Large, 'Disorderly,' Gathering, Police Say Four people were shot, one critically, in the region during a large, disorderly gathering. The incident occurred in Dutchess County in the city of Poughkeepsie around 3:30 a.m., Friday, July 5, in the area of 380 Main St. According to Det. Sgt. Terrance Beam of the Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers, encountered a large disorderly group and four people suffering from gunshot wounds.  Officers began rendering aid to the victims and secured a crime scene. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Threatening Police Department A man from the region is behind bars for allegedly threatening a police department with violence. Dutchess County resident Michael A. Cavagnolo, age 48, of Hyde Park, was arrested on Tuesday, March 5 in connection with an investigation into threats of violence made against the Town of Hyde Park Police. According to Capt.
