Fiery Fatal Crash: 53-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Westchester Police are investigating after a middle-aged man was killed in a fiery overnight crash on I-87. It happened in Westchester just before 1 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10 on northbound I-87 in the village of Tarrytown. When New York State Police troopers arrived at the scene, a tractor-trailer was fully engulfed in flames. A preliminary investigation determined that the driver and sole occupant, Saratoga County resident Richard A. NY Thruway Toll Increase Approved: Here's How Much More You'll Pay, When It Will Take Effect Motorists who travel on the New York Thruway will soon face an increase in toll rates, officials announced.  The toll adjustments, which will be the first system-wide increase in 14 years, were announced by the New York Thruway Authority on Monday, Sept. 18, and follow a 10-month-long public process.  The increases will affect those with New York E-ZPass tags, non-New York E-ZPass tags, and those who pay tolls by mail, Thruway Authority officials said.
