A late-night fire at an apartment complex in the region saw one individual's narrow escape and left three firefighters needing medical attention as local fire crews battled intense flames. The blaze occurred in Orange County around 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 39 Kenny Court in Newburgh. One person received third-degree burns when a house in the region exploded as new renters were moving in. The incident occurred in Sullivan County around 11 p.m., Saturday, March 2 at 2 Shirley St., in Monticello.
