Ben & Jerry Founders Unveil New 'Kamala' Ice Cream Move on, chocolate chip, Kamala's new flavor is dropping.  The co-founders of Ben & Jerry's, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, just announced  that they have teamed up with the progressive advocacy group MoveOn.Org to create a new flavor of ice cream called "Kamala's Coconut Jubilee," in honor of Vice President Harris' presidential campaign.  It's part of a get out the vote campaign that will kick off with a rally in Philadelphia on Monday, Sept. 16. Harris Taps Gov. Tim Walz As Running Mate As Swing State Tour Starts Ahead Of Convention Vice President Kamala Harris has ended weeks of speculation after naming Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate on Tuesday, Aug. 6.  The 60-year-old Walz was a seemingly late entrant to the "veepstakes" but gained popularity after several media appearances went viral.  The chair of the Democratic Governor's Association, Walz was a US Congressman from 2007 to 2019. A former high school social studies teacher, he's served 24 years in the Army National Guard. 'High Risk, High Reward': Santos Staffer Impersonated Speaker's Aide To Fundraise, Feds Say A campaign staffer who worked to elect New York Rep. George Santos impersonated a high-level Congressional aide in order to raise money for the then-aspiring lawmaker, a scheme that Santos was well aware of, federal prosecutors allege. Samuel Miele, age 27, is charged with wire fraud and identity theft as part of a five-count indictment that was unsealed in federal court in Brooklyn on Wednesday, Aug. 16.
