‘Just So Grateful’: Capital Region Restaurant Closing After 7 Years In Business For Christopher Knable, that’s a wrap on seven years of serving up comfort food with a side of “old fashioned values.” His Columbia County cafe and bakery, Main St. Goodness – located in Chatham at 20 Main Street – will permanently close on Sunday, Feb. 11. Knable is hanging up his apron and moving overseas after accepting “a really exciting new job,” he said in a video announcement on Facebook. “I just want to say thank you. Thank you, Chatham.
