Fatal Crash: 19-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Region A 19-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash after he allegedly ran a red light in the region, striking another car. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Monday, Sept. 2, on Route 9 near the Alpine Commons in the town of Wappinger around 10 p.m. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, an initial investigation determined a 2006 Honda 999, driven by Orange County resident Dante Crespo, age 19, of Monroe, was northbound on Route 9 and ran a red light striking a 2009 Lexus ES250 making a lefthand turn into the Alpine Commons parking lot. 3 Women Shot Outside Suburban NY Restaurant A suspect is on the loose after three women were shot outside a restaurant in the Hudson Valley. It happened just after 3 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 in Central Nyack, outside CY's Restaurant and Lounge, located at 37 Route 59. Arrival officers discovered a woman with gunshot wounds to her leg and abdomen, lying on the ground in front of the establishment, Clarkstown Police said. The officers, along with Emergency Medical Services (EMS), provided immediate medical aid before transporting her to Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Police Searching For Shooters After Home, Man Hit In Region Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for the person or people who fired multiple shots in a neighborhood, striking a man and an occupied home. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at around 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, on N. Clinton St., in the city of Poughkeepsie. Update: EMTs Resign Over Alleged Mistreatment Of NY Patient Caught On Video Two paramedics in upstate New York who were seen on a viral video mistreating and berating a developmentally disabled patient have resigned. The Greene County incident happened Friday evening, May 17, in the Village of Catskill.
