Drunk Driver From Westchester Charged After Crashing Into Victim In Region: Police A Westchester man faces felony charges after crashing into a man while he was walking in a crosswalk on a New York roadway, leaving them critically injured, police announced. White Plains resident Joseph Jensen, age 54, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 28 in connection with an incident in the Ulster County village of Ellenville, Ellenville Police said. Missing: Hudson Valley 19-Year-Old Hasn't Been Seen In 5 Days, Police Say Police are asking the public for help locating a 19-year-old from the region who hasn't been seen in five days. Ulster County resident Elijah Maldonado, of Ellenville, was last seen on Saturday, Nov. 4 leaving his home. Ellenville Police said Maldonado had a fight with his mother and left and hasn't been seen since.  Maldonado was last seen wearing a black down coat with a fur hood, ripped jeans, and sneakers.  He is described as being 5-foot-8, 160 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. Teen Brought 8-Inch Knife To School In Hudson Valley Intending To Stab Staff Member, Police Say A 13-year-old student in upstate New York is facing charges after authorities say he brought an 8-inch knife to a school in the Hudson Valley and intended to stab a school staffer. The incident happened in Ulster County on Monday morning, May 16 at Ellenville Junior High School. Ellenville Police say that when officers arrived, the student was no longer in possession of the knife and was "isolated in a room with building administration."
