Hudson Valley Man Killed In Crash Between Truck, Car
A Hudson Valley man was killed in a two-vehicle crash. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 8 a.m., Thursday, June 13, on Route 52 at the intersection of Leetown Road in the town of East Fishkill. According to Chief Derrick Cuccia of the East Fishkill Police, a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2006 Mack truck (Tri-County Carting garbage truck) driven by a 55-year-old Brewster man was traveling eastbound on Route 52 when it struck a 2018 Subaru that was exiting Leetown Road. Developing: 15 Protestors Charged After Closing Down Bridge In Hudson Valley
New York State Police arrested 15 people during a protest calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict after they shut down parts of a major highway and a bridge. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on I-84 and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge around 8 a.m., Monday, April 15. A man and two women were charged in connection with an alleged stabbing inside an Amazon facility in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Dutchess County at the Amazon warehouse in the town of East Fishkill around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1. The threat was received several hours before the varsity contest in Dutchess County between rivals John Jay of East Fishkill and host Roy C. School officials in the Hudson Valley are warning of "concerning" interactions between an individual and students off-campus of a high school.
