2 Kids Ejected From Truck After Capital Region Drunk Driver Crashes Into Pole: Police A 40-year-old Wilton man is believed to have been drunk when he rolled his truck during a single-vehicle crash that ejected two young boys from the truck's bed and into the hospital, authorities said.  Matthew J. Murry Jr. said he crashed his vehicle on Pettis Road in Wilton just after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said. New York State Police found Cassandra Jones, of Albany, stopped on I-87 in Bethlehem with a flat tire at around 6:20 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28. But as troopers spoke with Jones, they determined that she was under the influence of alcohol, police said. She was arrested and taken to a facility in Albany, where testing allegedly revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent, more than twice the legal limit to drive. Capital District Man Busted For Driving High On Drugs With Child In Vehicle, Police Say A man from the Capital District is facing charges after he was allegedly busted driving high on drugs with a child in the car. Troopers stopped Schenectady resident Derrick Hill, age 50, Monday evening, June 27, on I-87 in the town of Coeymans for a vehicle and traffic violation, according to New York State Police. It was determined that he was impaired by drugs and had a revoked license, police said. He also had a 3-year-old child in the vehicle.
