A man was charged with allegedly assaulting a woman with a broom handle and his fist, causing a head injury, during a domestic dispute in the region. Ulster County resident Harry J. Krom, age 42, of Kerhonkson, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 25, on Two Path Road in Wawarsing. A 16-year-old girl is recovering after allegedly being stabbed by her boyfriend during a fight. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 31 Eliza St., in Beacon.
