Albany, Ellenville Women Get Clemency From President Biden Two New York women convicted of non-violent federal drug offenses are among 16 people nationwide to receive clemency from President Joe Biden. Stacy Wilder, age 49, of Albany, served nearly six years in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess and distribute cocaine in the Northern District of New York in January 2003. She received a full pardon from the president. Ex-Con Commuted By Cuomo Murders 27-Year-Old NY Man, DA Says An anti-violence activist who once spent decades in prison before he was granted early release by former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is now accused of killing a 27-year-old man. Dontie Mitchell, age 43, of Albany, was indicted on murder and related charges by an Albany County grand jury on Friday, Aug. 18, in the death of Shieer Leggett.
