Triple Homicide: Incident In Small Vermont Town Along Capital Region Border Under Investigation The Vermont State Police are asking the public for help after three people were found dead inside a home along the New York border. The incident occurred in the small Rutland County town of Pawlet on Sunday, Sept. 15. According to the Vermont State Police, early Sunday, the police received a call reporting a suspicious person. An investigation led the officers to a residence on Route 133, where troopers located the victims. Man Dies After Brawl At Middle School Basketball Game In Vermont (Video) A brawl that erupted during a middle school boys basketball game in New England appears to have turned deadly. Vermont State Police said 60-year-old Russel Giroux died Tuesday night, Jan. 31, shortly after being involved in a large fight at the Alburgh Community Education Center in the town of Alburgh, Vermont.
