A man killed in a head-on crash with a tractor-trailer in the Capital Region was identified as a 21-year-old mechanic. Evan Kvinlaug, of Albany, died from injuries sustained in a wreck on State Route 67 (Amsterdam Road) in Charlton on Monday, Feb. 3, New York State Police said. A tractor-trailer collided with Kvinlaug’s pickup truck at the intersection of West Line Road at around 12:45 p.m., ejecting him from his vehicle, according to police. One person was killed following a crash involving a tractor-trailer on a Capital Region highway. The wreck happened in Saratoga County, on State Route 67 (Amsterdam Road) in Charlton, at around 12:45 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3. A tractor-trailer collided with a pickup truck at the intersection of West Line Road, ejecting the pickup driver, New York State Police said. Students and colleagues are mourning the sudden loss of a beloved elementary school principal following his death in a car crash. The Saratoga County wreck happened at around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, July 20, in the town of Charlton on State Road. Three decades after Betty Conley was shot and killed while working at a convenience store in the region, her killer has yet to face justice. The Saratoga County murder happened in the town of Charlton, at the Xtra Mart on State Route 67, at around 3 a.m. on July 8, 1993.
