The incident took place in Ulster County around 2:40 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 14 near the Leggs Mills Road railroad crossing. 4-Year-Old Hit By Car Outside McDonald's In Capital Region A young child is doing okay after being struck by a car in the region. The incident happened at around 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, in Albany, near the intersection of Sherman and Ontario streets. According to Albany Police, a 4-year-old boy ran into the roadway while his mother was unloading items from her car and was hit by a vehicle. The boy was not injured and was taken to Albany Medical Center out of precaution. The incident happened just outside of a McDonald's.

Albany County resident Michael Kleinke, a 17-year-old student at Colonie Central High School in Colonie, died Saturday, May 13, according to district Superintendent David Perry. Woman Killed In Fiery I-87 Crash Involving Drunk Driver, State Police Say A woman was killed in a fiery two-vehicle crash involving a drunk driver on a stretch of I-87, New York State Police said. It happened at around 9:55 p.m. Saturday, May 28 on the northbound side in Albany County in the town of Colonie. Two Killed In Hudson Valley Crash, Police Say Two people were killed during a Hudson Valley crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 21 at the intersection of Overlook Road and Keith Drive in LaGrange. The victims have not been identified pending notification of next of kin, said Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
