Hudson Valley Woman Drives Into CSX Train By Mistake, Suffers Injuries A Hudson Valley woman suffered minor injuries after she allegedly mixed up backing out and accidentally pulled forward and drove into a CSX train. The incident took place in Ulster County around 2:40 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 14 near the Leggs Mills Road railroad crossing. According to Chief Kyle Berardi of the Ulster Police Department, Vivian McKeithan, age 72, of the town of Ulster, was driving a 2011 Cadillac sedan when she attempted to back out of a parking spot and put the car in drive by mistake, accelerated through the parking lot and collided with the side a passing CSX train. 4-Year-Old Hit By Car Outside McDonald's In Capital Region A young child is doing okay after being struck by a car in the region. The incident happened at around 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, in Albany, near the intersection of Sherman and Ontario streets. According to Albany Police, a 4-year-old boy ran into the roadway while his mother was unloading items from her car and was hit by a vehicle. The boy was not injured and was taken to Albany Medical Center out of precaution. The incident happened just outside of a McDonald's.

17-Year-Old Student Killed In Capital Region Highway Crash Classmates and loved ones are mourning the loss of a high school senior who was killed in a highway crash in the region just weeks before graduating. Albany County resident Michael Kleinke, a 17-year-old student at Colonie Central High School in Colonie, died Saturday, May 13, according to district Superintendent David Perry. A preliminary investigation revealed that a 1964 Oldsmobile sedan driven by Columbia County resident Edward M. Two Killed In Hudson Valley Crash, Police Say Two people were killed during a Hudson Valley crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle. The crash took place in Dutchess County around 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 21 at the intersection of Overlook Road and Keith Drive in LaGrange. The victims have not been identified pending notification of next of kin, said Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
