Cops responded around 4:45 a.m. to a man with facial lacerations on Madison Avenue near Lark Street, the Albany Police Department said. He was taken to Albany Medical Center and listed in stable condition. The man was involved in an altercation with an unidentified suspect when the suspect pulled a knife and slashed him in the face, investigators said. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
