Boy, 6, Killed In NJ Apartment Fire That Injured 17 Was Visiting Relatives: Police (Update) A six-year-old Central New York boy was visiting his family in Ewing when he died in a massive apartment fire that injured 17 people and left at least 16 without homes, authorities said. Jayden Gotell-Watkins of Baldwinsville, NY, was identified as the victim killed in the Cambridge Hall fire, the Ewing Police Department said in a news release. Seventeen other victims were hospitalized in the blaze on Thursday, Jan. 2. Pets Rescued, Red Cross Helps Family After House Fire On Jersey Shore: Firefighters A home caught fire in a Lower Township neighborhood, officials said. Firefighters responded to the two-story house on Redwood Avenue in the Villas section of the township at around 1:41 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, the Villas Fire Company said in a news release. First-arriving crews saw heavy flames coming from the top floor of the home. Firefighters found fire on an outside deck spread into the attic. 24 Condos Destroyed By Fire In East Windsor Residents of 24 condominiums in East Windsor were displaced by a fire, authorities said. On Monday, June 10, at approximately 4:30 p.m., East Windsor Township police responded to a reported structure fire at building K of the American Way Condos on Avon Drive.  The first responding police officers observed heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor on the north end of the structure.
