Woman Rescued From Roof 'Lost Everything' In South Jersey House Fire: Fundraiser A Delanco Township woman was sedated in a hospital after she was rescued from a roof on her burning home, officials said. Firefighters responded to the home on the 300 block of Burlington Avenue at around 4:50 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, the Delanco Fire Company said in a Facebook post. Delanco police officers rescued a woman from a porch roof before fire crews arrived. Man Stabbed, Woman Airlifted In South Jersey Assault, House Fire: Police Two people were hospitalized after a stabbing and a house fire in Bridgeton, authorities said. Bridgeton police responded to a 27-year-old man who arrived at Inspira Hospital on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 5, the department said in a news release. Officers learned the man was an assault victim suffering from "non-life-threatening" stab wounds. Investigators said the stabbing happened in a home on the 100 block of Oak Street.
