Monmouth University Lockdown Order Lifted After Email Made Bomb, Shooting Threats
A lockdown order was lifted at Monmouth University after students were asked to shelter in place for several hours as investigators looked into a threat on campus, officials said. Woman Cited For Careless Driving After Overturning Vehicle: Montgomery PD
A driver was given a summons for careless driving after their vehicle overturned in Montgomery Township on Thursday, July 18, authorities said. At 11:58 a.m., first responders were on the scene of an overturned vehicle at Route 518 near Brecknell Way, Montgomery Police said in a release. The driver, a 37-year-old Skillman woman was operating 2020 Mini eastbound on Route 518 when she drifted over the fog line and impacted the trailer of a landscape truck parked along the shoulder, police said. Teenager Charged With Robbing 3 Trenton Taxicab Drivers: Police
An 18-year-old man has been charged with robbing three taxicab drivers in Trenton, authorities said. Noah Brantley of Trenton was arrested on Thursday, July 18 on the 400 block of Lamberton Street, Trenton police said. In two of the robberies, Brantley requested a cab to the area of Brunswick Avenue and Sanford Street. Brantley allegedly robbed the drivers of their wallets and money once they arrived at his intended destination in south Trenton, police said. The mysterious boom heard and felt across the tristate area may have been caused by a meteor passing through the area, NASA says. Locals reported hearing thunder-like booms and rattling just after 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 16. One person was killed in a crash in Monmouth County, authorities said. A driver died in the crash in Howell Township on Tuesday, July 9, according to state police data. Six Walgreens stores in South Jersey were among 20 nationwide to get fake bomb threats on Thursday, June 28, authorities said.
