Rabid Fox Bites Person Walking Dog In South Jersey, Health Officials Say A person was bitten by a rabid fox while helping walk a dog in Gloucester Township, officials said. A Gloucester resident and their family member walked the dog when they encountered the fox on Friday, Nov. 8, the Camden County Health Department said in a news release. The family member tried to separate the fox and dog when the fox bit the person. Family Dog Kills Rabid Skunk In Camden County, Health Officials Say A family dog was being monitored after killing a rabid skunk in a Gloucester Township backyard, officials said.
