Man Stabbed, Woman Airlifted In South Jersey Assault, House Fire: Police
Two people were hospitalized after a stabbing and a house fire in Bridgeton, authorities said. Bridgeton police responded to a 27-year-old man who arrived at Inspira Hospital on the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 5, the department said in a news release. Officers learned the man was an assault victim suffering from "non-life-threatening" stab wounds. Investigators said the stabbing happened in a home on the 100 block of Oak Street. Man Airlifted After Vehicle Crashes With Ambulance Going To Emergency In South Jersey: Police
A Pennsylvania man was airlifted to a hospital after a crash involving an ambulance heading to an emergency in Cape May County, authorities said. Middle Township police responded to the crash on Route 9 North at around 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 6, the department said in a news release. The wreck involved an Inspira ambulance in the Swainton section of the township. Investigators said the ambulance was traveling to a medical emergency with its lights and sirens activated. NJ Transit, Amtrak Service Resumes After Power Outage, Brush Fire
Service to NJ Transit and Amtrak trains was disrupted for the second time this week on Thursday, June 20 due to both power issues and brush fires along the NJ Turnpike, officials said. Amtrak service between Philadelphia and New Haven had been suspended while NJ Transit service in and out of NY Penn Station was also suspended, due to power issues on the Amtrak line, NJ Transit said.
