Man Killed In Fiery Overnight Newark Crash
A man was killed in a fiery crash early Sunday, Oct. 27 in Newark, police said. The male driver was found inside a vehicle that caught fire after crashing into a tree and colliding through a nearby residential gate at Weequahic Avenue near Bergen Street around 3:30 a.m., Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Firefighters extinguished the fire and the man was pronounced dead. No other injuries have been reported. No further information is available.

Crash, Vehicle Fire Blocks Garden State Parkway (

A crash and vehicle fire partially blocked the Garden State Parkway in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 10 a.m. on Monday, July 29 southbound south of Exit 131 in Woodbridge Township, according to the NJDOT. Two right lanes were blocked, 511nj.org reported. Car Fire Shuts Route 280, DOT Says
A vehicle fire closed a portion of Route 280 Monday evening, June 24 in Essex County. Emergency response vehicles were at the scene in Orange as of 7:45 p.m. Two right lanes on the eastbound side just east of Exit 11 were closed.
