Two men were shot in Newark on the evening of Saturday, July 6, authorities said. At 7:13 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of South 7th Street and located two adult men who had been shot, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. Man Fatally Shot In Newark: Prosecutors
A man was fatally shot in Newark on the evening of Tuesday, July 2, authorities said. At 9:30 p.m., police responded to the 200 block of Park Avenue and found an unresponsive male suffering from a gunshot wound, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frage said. Monroe Township police responded to an apparent “swatting” incident on Wednesday, July 3, authorities said.
