Utah Man Who Threatened To Shoot Up NY Synagogue Arrested In NJ: Report, Nypd A Utah man accused of making online threats against a prominent New York City synagogue was arrested in New Jersey over the weekend, according to the NYPD and ABC7. A spokesperson for the NYPD said an individual was arrested by the Port Authority Police Department on the New Jersey side of the Lincoln Tunnel around 5:30 p.m. Friday. That suspect was identified as Luis Ramirez, 23,  by ABC7. Charges against Ramirez were pending. Charles Newcomer was last seen on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 6:30 p.m., when he left from visiting his wife at the Brookdale assisted living facility in West Orange, police said. Newcomer is traveling in a red 2016 Jeep Wrangler  bearing the New Jersey registration SC688E which has a cover of the Marine Corp symbol on the spare tire., police said. According to Port Authority spokeswoman Lenis Valens, the motorcyclist crashed around 3:50 a.m. in the center tube's two westbound lanes. The operator was hospitalized in critical condition.
