Irvington Man Trespassed At Daycare Center With Drug Paraphernalia: Hoboken PD An Irvington man was arrested and charged with trespassing at a daycare center in Hoboken on Wednesday, Oct. 30, authorities said. At 11:45 a.m., officers were alerted that a man, later identified as Kevin Nguyen, had gotten into the playground area of a nearby daycare and was attempting to get inside the building, Hoboken police said.  Officers recognized the suspect as Nguyen, and school employees told officers he’d trespassed on school property before, police said. Man Found Dead In Hoboken Park: Prosecutor A man was found dead in Maxwell Place Park on the morning of Thursday, Aug. 15, authorities said. The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said they were investigating, along with the Hoboken Police Department. The cause and manner of death are pending the findings of the Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, authorities said. Maxwell Place Park was temporarily closed due to the investigation, a spokeswoman for the City of Hoboken said.

At 9:40 p.m., three people were seen entering a garage on mini-motorcycles, attempting to open the doors of multiple vehicles, a spokeswoman for the Hoboken police said. They were unsuccessful and left, the spokeswoman said. Later that evening, the three suspects attempted to steal a Vespa near the 15th Street and Adams Street but the owner of the vehicle stopped them, authorities said. At 12:30 a.m., Jefferson Sanchez hit the two vehicles at the intersection of Newark and Hudson Streets, a spokeswoman for the Hoboken police said.
