Five Jersey City Victims Identified In Deadly Newark Crash: Prosecutor
Five of the victims in a fiery Newark crash that killed six people earlier this month have been identified, authorities said. At 10:47 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, a vehicle carrying six people was traveling on Raymond Boulevard toward the Route 1&9 southbound on-ramp, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens II said. Two Killed In Kearny Fire: Prosecutor
Two people were killed in an early morning fire in Kearny on Friday, Dec. 6, authorities said. Around midnight, the Kearny Fire Department responded to a fire at 56 Hamilton Ave. and encountered heavy fire coming from a single residence, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Two people, Martin Wilson, 61, and Mary Beth Guenther, 58, were located within the structure with serious injuries, Suarez said. 18-Year-Old Fatally Shot In Newark: Prosecutor
A 18-year-old Elizabeth resident was killed after being shot in the head on Sunday, Dec. 1 in Newark, authorities said. Wes Thalerand was fatally shot at 9 p.m. at 188 Huntington Avenue, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said. He was pronounced dead at University Hospital in Newark, authorities said. A 19-year-old hockey player from Bergen County was killed after his car caught fire on Route 80 in Warren County on the evening of Sunday, Dec. 1, authorities said. At 8:21 p.m., a Hyundai SUV driven by Carmine Argenziano was traveling westbound on Route 80 in Hope Township when it veered off the right side of the roadway, hit multiple trees and then caught fire, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said. Two People Fatally Struck By Truck In Elizabeth IDed: Authorities
Two people in their 20s were fatally struck by a truck in Elizabeth on the evening of Sunday, Aug. 19, authorities said. Tatiana Liceth, a 26-year-old Elizabeth resident, and Edisson Mauricio, 24 , were crossing the roadway at Routes 1 and 9 and Maple Avenue, when a tractor trailer that was stopped at the light proceeded forward when the southbound light turned green, a spokeswoman for the city said. Liceth and Mauricio were fatally struck, while the driver remain on scene, authorities said. The crash remains under investigation, authorities said.

Woman, 57, Killed In Trenton Crash
A 57-year-old woman was killed and three others were hurt in a crash in Trenton, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 8 near the intersection of East State and South Broad streets, according to Trenton police. The victim's name had not been released. All the cars' occupants became trapped after the two-car collision, police said.

A 41-year-old Winfield Park man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle in Linden on the early morning of Wednesday, June 5, authorities said. At 1:20 a.m., police responded to S. Wood Avenue and Routes 1 and 9 on a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, Linden police said in a release. The pedestrian was crossing Route 1 and 9 when he was struck by a 2021 Honda Civic traveling southbound, police said.
