Man Riding Scooter Broke Into Newark Dunkin': Police
A man riding a scooter is at large after he broke into a Dunkin in Newark on Saturday, Sept. 7, authorities said.
At 3:23 a.m., the man arrived at Dunkin at 794 Franklin Ave. on a scooter, and then used an object to break in, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said.
Once inside, the suspect also used an object to break into an office where he stole approximately $3,500.00 in cash before fleeing on the scooter heading northbound on North 6th Street, Fragé said. The suspect later entered Stephen Crane Village, where he entered a white Kia, Fragé said.

NY Man Fakes Slashing To Burglarize Route 17 Bank, Police Say
A 32-year-old New York man is facing charges in Paramus, NJ for pretending he was held at knifepoint in one location when, in fact, he was burglarizing another, police said.
Officers were called to the Dunkin parking lot at 492 Route 17 North on Sunday, Sept. 1 where Jonathan Gardner, of Canastota, NY, had told authorities he was being held at knifepoint and suffered a slash to his arm while defending himself from an attacker, Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti said.

Man Shattered Glass Door At Dunkin: Newark PD (Photo)
An irate customer at a Dunkin' in Newark shattered a glass door on Saturday, May 25, authorities said.
At 11:50 a.m., the man walked into Dunkin before getting angry, Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé said. The man knocked down an object before slamming a glass door, causing it to shatter, Fragé said.
The man then fled northbound on Broad Street, Fragé said. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, blue shorts, and white sneakers, Fragé said. Anyone with information is asked to contact 1-87-695-8477.
