Motorcyclist Killed By Tractor-Trailer After Crashing Into SUV In South Jersey, Troopers Say
A Hainesport man was killed when he was hit by a tractor-trailer after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV, authorities said. Johnny Epperson Jr., 67, died in the crash on Route 206 North in Southampton Township on Sunday, Sept. 15, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the wreck near milepost 23.3 at around 12:37 p.m. Investigators said Epperson was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he hit the back of a Honda CR-V. Man Gets Out Of Car, Killed By Tractor-Trailer On NJ Turnpike, State Police Say
A Monroe Township man was killed when he got out of his car and was hit by a tractor-trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said. Michael Veisz, 40, died in the crash on Interstate 95 North in East Brunswick on Friday, Aug. 23, a state police spokesperson said. The man who died after three tractor-trailers crashed on Interstate 81 on Saturday morning, Aug. 3, has been identified by the Pennsylvania State Police Adrian Jemmott, 31 of Trenton, New Jersey died at the scene of the triple tractor-trailer crash, PSP Jonestown Investigator Ryan Schuetrumpf detailed in the release on Aug. 4. A tractor-trailer fire shuttered part of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia for hours, Pennsylvania State Police explained on Friday morning. The tractor-trailer was already ablaze when it jackknifed on I-95 South at mile marker 25.6 in Philadelphia County near the Betsy Ross Bridge into New Jersey around 7:30 a.m. on June 28, state police detailed in the release.
