Schools across South Jersey were closed Monday, Jan. 6 due to snow, with Cape May County recording the highest totals, according to the National Weather Service (NWS). A winter storm swept across the state, dumping up to 8 inches of snow in some areas and creating picturesque scenes — and some travel headaches. 3 Juveniles Tracked To Social Media Threats That Closed Deptford, Woodbury Schools, Cops Say
Three juveniles from Gloucester County were in custody on Monday, Sept. 9 in connection with social media threats made against "numerous" South Jersey schools, authorities said. Schools in Deptford and Woodbury were closed on Monday, Sept. 9 due to the threats, which turned out to be unfounded.
