Princeton Motorcyclist Crashes Into Moose, Dies On I-95 In Maine: Troopers A Princeton man was killed when his motorcycle struck a moose on Interstate 95 in northern Maine, authorities said. Anand Sreedharan, 50, died in the crash on Monday, Sept. 30, Maine State Police said in a news release on Wednesday, Oct. 2. It happened on I-95 South near milepost 240 in an unincorporated area about five miles south of the town of Medway. Investigators said the moose crossed into Sreedharan's lane and was hit by the motorcycle. Sreedharan was ejected from the bike and pronounced dead at the scene. Vegetables, Bagged Salads Sold In 18 States Recalled Due To Listeria Concerns A recall for a brand of vegetables and bagged salads has been expanded to 18 states due to possible Listeria contamination. Ohio-based Wiers Farm began its investigation in response to the Michigan Department of Agriculture's original findings, which led to the expansion.  Products in the expanded recall were packed between Friday, July through Friday, July 12. Vegetables that are part of the recall include cucumbers, green bell and jalapeno peppers, green beans, and cilantro. They were sold in a variety of different stores, including Walmart.
