The player won a staggering $241,857.36 jackpot at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, the resort said in a news release on Thursday, Nov. 21. The big win happened on the weekend of Saturday, Nov. 16.
The $25 bet hit the grand jackpot of $234,653.68 on an Aristocrat Emperor’s Treasure Dollar Storm slot machine, along with $7,203.68 in bonuses on the same spin. The wide-area progressive machine is part of a network linked to similar slots at multiple locations.
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, joins a growing list of Hard Rock’s high-profile jackpot winners in recent weeks.
Earlier in the month, two anonymous players hit it big on penny slots at Hard Rock on Friday, Nov. 1. One bettor won $165,110.10 with a $1.36 bet on a Jin Ji Bao Xi Rising Fortunes machine, while another landed a $390,306.34 jackpot with a $10 wager on a Dollar Storm machine.
Another slot player won without leaving his home. A Cherry Hill man named Brian won $136,824.50 on an 80-cent bet through the online Ted Jackpot Royale game on his first day using the Hard Rock Bet app.
Hard Rock’s gaming floor features 2,425 slot machines, 130 table games, and a private high-limit slot salon.
