Man Killed In Route 31 Crash After Car Overturns In Ditch: Police
A 56-year-old Columbia resident was killed in a car crash on Route 31 in Warren County on the morning of Monday, Oct. 14, authorities said. At 5:43 a.m., officers responded to the car crash where they found a Chevy Avalanche had overturned, Washington Township police said. A preliminary investigation revealed the Chevy was traveling southbound on Route 31 north when it left the roadway, striking the guardrail and bridge abutment before rolling over into a ditch, police said. A water utility company based in Camden said it is pausing billing in the wake of a cyberattack on Thursday, Oct. 3. American Water serves 2.8 million people in the Garden State, providing water to municipalities in Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Union and Warren counties. 2 Motorcyclists Hospitalized With Serious Injuries In Route 80 Crash
A pair of motorcyclists were hospitalized with serious injuries when one struck the other on Route 80 in Warren County on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Kawasaki and Aprilia motorcycle were traveling east on Route 80 when the 33-year-old Aprilla operator struck the rear of the Kawasaki around 6 p.m. at milepost 12.6 in Hope Township, New Jersey State Polie Sgt. Car Thief, Fraudster Extradited To PA From NJ Jail, Cops Say
An Easton woman is in the Northampton County jail for a car theft early this year, say Forks Township police. Authorities said they were called about a stolen Hyundai Santa Fe at 5335 Kesslersville Road on Feb. 29. The victim, a New Jersey resident, also reported fraudulent transactions on a debit card that was left in the vehicle. : Former Warren County Prosecutor Wants His Job Back
James Pfeiffer, who abruptly retired as Warren County Prosecutor in April, has filed a lawsuit claiming he was unlawfully removed from the position. The complaint, filed against New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin and Gov. Phil Murphy in Superior Court of New Jersey, said he remains the duly appointed Prosecutor for Warren County and wants his job back. A school board trustee in Warren County crossed the line in trying to have her child's bullying suspension revoked, according to a state ethics board. Lisa Moyer, a member of the board of education in Allamuchy Township, violated several sections of the school ethics board, after her child was suspended for harassment, intimidation and bullying in 2022, the School Ethics Commission ruled. Two people were killed, including a 12-year-old child, in a crash on Route 78 in Warren County on Wednesday night, May 22, authorities said. At 11:23 p.m., a Lincoln passenger vehicle traveling east on Route 78 in Greenwich Township entered the right shoulder and crashed into the back of an international tractor semi-trailer, Jeffrey Lebron, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police, said.
