Hoboken Wants You To Weigh In On New Skatepark The City of Hoboken has released a survey asking residents to weigh on a new skatepark at the site of the future Maritime Park. The skatepark planned for Maritime Park will be replacing the existing Castle Point Skatepark, the city said. Along with skateboarders, the skatepark plans to accommodate BMX riders, scooters, and roller skaters. Spat Over Storm Drain Paving Continues For Hoboken Mayor, County Exec The accidental paving of a storm drain in Hoboken has led to war of words between Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla and Hudson County Executive Craig Guy. The storm drains on Park Avenue were recently paved over as the city prepared for rainfall as part of a repaving project.  Bhalla called it unacceptable and said the county executive's office has been ignoring him. Guy accused Bhalla of being dishonest and said staff had been in constant contact with city officials.
