At 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 4, Irvington police responded to the 300 block of Nesbit Terrace on a report of an armed person and encountered Karim Brunson, who proceeded to barricade himself in the home, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Irvington Public Safety Director Tracy Bowers said. Teenager Fatally Shot In Irvington: Prosecutor A 17-year-old was fatally shot in Irvington on the early morning of Wednesday, July 3, authorities said. At 1:26 a.m., police responded to a shooting on the 1100 block of Grove Street and found the teenage boy suffering from gunshot wounds, Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II and Irvington Public Safety Director Tracy Bowers said.
