Man Shot In Rahway: Police A 20-year-old man was shot in Rahway on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 22, authorities said.  At 7:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of gunfire at Bond and Washington Streets and found the 20-year-old with a single gunshot wound at an Exxon gas station, Director of Police Nicholas Breiner and Chief Law Enforcement Officer Shawn Ganley said. Man Fatally Struck By Train In Rahway: NJ Transit A man was fatally struck by an NJ Transit train on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 15 in Rahway, authorities said. The man was struck at 7:45 p.m. by Northeast Corridor train 3963, which had departed Penn Station New York at 7:12 p.m. and was set to arrive in Trenton at 8:36 p.m., NJ Transit said. There were no injuries to the 450 customers and crew on board, NJ Transit said.. Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coastline service was temporarily suspended  resumed with up to 90-minute delays in both directions, NJ Transit said. New Jersey Transit Police are investigating.

From Oct. 2016 to April 2019, MV Contracting secured several contracts funded by the Federal Highway Administration set aside to remedy ongoing discrimination in federally assisted highway contracting markets, US Attorney Phillip Sellinger said. Fundraiser Launched After Rahway Motorcyclist, 32, Killed In Clark Crash A 32-year-old Rahway man was killed after his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle in Clark Township on Tuesday, July 16, authorities said. At 7:55 p.m., Justin Almenas was riding his motorcycle westbound on Madison Hill Road, when it collided with a Honda Accord that was making a left turn from Adams Street, Clark Township police said in a release. Almenas was taken to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
