Police ID Porsche Driver, 41, Killed In NJ Crash A 41-year-old North Brunswick man was killed when he crashed a Porsche in Linden the evening of Friday, June 14, authorities said. At 6:45 p.m., a Porsche Boxter driven by Justin Harmon lost control while traveling south on S. Park Avenue and veered into the northbound lane, Linden police said.  The vehicle struck a utility pole and continued off the roadway before colliding with a parked cargo trailer, police said. Harmon was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau.

Pedestrian, 41, Killed By Car On Route 1&9, Police Say A 41-year-old Winfield Park man was killed after he was struck by a vehicle in Linden on the early morning of Wednesday, June 5, authorities said. At 1:20 a.m., police responded to S. Wood Avenue and Routes 1 and 9 on a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, Linden police said in a release.  The pedestrian was crossing Route 1 and 9 when he was struck by a 2021 Honda Civic traveling southbound, police said. Six-Year-Old Struck By Vehicle: Linden PD A six-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle in Linden on Friday, May 24, authorities said. The girl was struck while crossing W. St. George Avenue, Linden police said in a release. She was transported to Newark University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. No other injuries were reported, police said. W. St. George Avenue was closed westbound at N. Stiles Street for two hours following the crash, police said. The crash remains under investigation by the Linden Police Traffic Bureau.
