'Miracle': Cops, Good Samaritans Use CPR To Save 9-Year-Old: Fairfield PD
A family received a holiday miracle in Fairfield after a 9-year-old child was revived using CPR with the help of police and Good Samaritans, authorities said. At 4:09 p.m., officers responded to Kids Empire at 437 Route 46 West on a report of a child who collapsed and was not breathing, Fairfield police said. Sergeant Brian Sabatelli, corporal David Lagan and officers Louis Bisciotti and Daniel Kalinowski arrived on scene and found two Good Samaritans performing CPR on the child, police said. North Bergen Man ID'd As Motorcyclist Killed In Bergen County Crash
Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Route 17 in Bergen County this week. Daniel Wenzel, 37, of Milford, PA collided with another vehicle on the southbound side of the highway near the Essex Street ramp in Maywood around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, Maywood Police Detective Sgt. Officials have identified the Pennsylvania man who drowned while tubing in on the Delaware River on Saturday, July 6. Gary M. Conley, 53, of Forks Township, was on a tube on the Delaware River when he went into the water and "did not return to the surface," said the Northampton County Coroner's Office. Bystanders pulled him to the shore and performed CPR until he could be taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus, authorities said.
