Watch: Thousands Gather In Sussex County For Funeral Of Turkish Dissident Fethullah Gulen
Hundreds of people gathered at Skylands Ballpark for the funeral of Fethullah Gulen, a prominent Turkish Muslim cleric, who inspired a movement in his native country, on Thursday, Oct. 24.
The funeral in Frankford Township caused delays in the area, with Sussex County Sheriff Michael Strada asking drivers to avoid the intersections of Route 15, 206, 565 and the surrounding area during the funeral.
Gulen's official X account said that an estimated 20,000 people were inside and outside of the ballpark for this funeral. The stadium has 4,200 seats, the website says.

Severe Thunderstorm Warnings Issued In These NJ, PA Counties
The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm warnings and warned of 60 mph winds across parts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania Friday, June 14.
At 4:15 p.m., the NWS issued the warnings for Sussex and Warren counties in New Jersey, and Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton, in PA.
Newton, Washington, Jim Thorpe, Stroudsburg, Reading, Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton, are also being warned of severe storms.
The warnings are in effect through 5 p.m.

UPDATE: A Pennsylvania man claimed he shot and killed a Paterson teen in the Poconos over an alleged $100 debt, authorities said after arresting him and an accused accomplice.
Tyrone Michael Parson, 19, of Stroudsburg lured Jaheem Keith Alston, also 19, into a purported drug deal before pulling out a gun and firing several shots at him on Oct. 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Alston's body was later found in a wooded area of Middle Smithfield Township, about 15 minutes west of the Delaware Water Gap, they said.

A Pennsylvania woman led state police on a high-speed pursuit on Route 80 in Morris County Sunday night, authorities said.
Danielle Trotman, 22, sped off when she was stopped for driving erratically on Route 80 eastbound near milepost 38.4 in Denville Township around 8:20 p.m., NJSP Trooper Alejandro Goez told Daily Voice.
Trotman, who was driving a white Hyundai Elantra, continued to lead troopers on a pursuit, ignoring their lights and sirens, Goez said.

Lifetime Lake Hiawatha Resident, Mother Of 3 Lisa Marie Butera Dies, 32
The Lake Hiawatha community is mourning the death of lifelong resident and mother of three Lisa Marie Butera on Sept. 17 at the age of 32.
Born in Morristown, Butera graduated in 2006 from Parsippany High School, her obituary says.
After receiving a master’s degree in Human Resources, Butera worked in Parsippany as an Account Manager for The Execu Search Group.

Paterson PD: Trio Busted With 8,900 Heroin Bags, $4,117 In Drug Cash
Paterson police seized 8,900 heroin folds and $4,117 in proceeds while arresting two city residents and one from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, authorities said.
At roughly a gram of heroin per envelope, that's nearly 20 pounds of the drug.
City detectives were conducting an investigation when they busted the trio while seizing the smack and cash.
