? Englewood Motorcyclist Killed In Crash Outside Hospital, Witnesses Sought
A 26-year-old motorcyclist died in a spill outside Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, said authorities who are seeking witnesses. City resident Yeison Velasquez apparently lost control of the cycle and went down on North Dean Street at 7:45 p.m. Friday, May 24, police said. He died a short time later at the hospital, they said. NOTE: Englewood Police Chiet Thomas Greeley asked that anyone who might have witnessed the crash -- or has any other information that could help investigators -- contact his Traffic Bureau at (201) 568-2863 or tb@englewoodpd.org.

A man who was struck and killed by a commuter bus near the George Washington Bridge earlier this week was the brother of actor Jason Patric. Jordan Miller, 56, lived in Fort Lee and was one of the customer service "red caps" who assist people moving through the Port Authority bus terminal just across the Hudson in midtown Manhattan. UPDATE: The death of an electric motorcyclist who authorities said ran a red light before crashing into a Port Authority police car near the George Washington Bridge is being investigated by state authorities. An ex-con with a long criminal history was drunk and carrying a gun and illegal drugs when he was ejected from his motorcycle in Clifton, authorities said. A city police officer was on patrol when he saw Delshon Coleman, 36, of Passaic drive erratically before being thrown from his 2008 Suzuki after coming to an abrupt stop on Paulison Avenue near Madison Avenue shortly after 9 p.m., Sgt. A 33-year-old motorcyclist from Roseland was struck and killed over the weekend on Route 21 in Passaic, authorities confirmed Monday. Marco Centanni was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on the highway’s southbound side near River Street following the 8 p.m. crash on Saturday, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman said in a joint announcement. A 22-year-old motorcyclist was found with a loaded handgun and hollow-point bullets after he crashed into a guardrail in Mansfield Township, authorities charged. Matthew J. Weaver of Washington crashed into a guardrail on Valley Road and sustained moderate injuries shortly after 12:10 p.m., Aug. 25, Mansfield Township police said in a release. Motorcyclist Critically Injured In New Milford Crash
A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash Sunday night in New Milford, authorities said. The motorcycle struck a guardrail at Monmouth Avenue after the 41-year-old rider apparently lost control while heading north on River Road shortly after 9 p.m., Police Chief Brian Clancy said. The New Milford Volunteer Ambulance Corps took the victim to Hackensack University Medical Center in critical condition, the chief said. River Road was reopened around 11 p.m., he said. New Milford police were investigating.

Bogota Motorcyclist Rear-Ended At Hackensack Stop Light
A Bogota motorcyclist who was thrown when a car rear-ended him at a Hackensack stoplight was released from the hospital after being treated, police said. The 27-year-old motorcyclist was stopped on River Street at the corner of Passaic Street when a 2004 Taurus hit his 2017 Kawasaki from behind, throwing him to the sidewalk, just after 1 a.m. Thursday, Capt. Frank Aquila said. He was treated for leg pain at Hackensack University Medical Center, Aquila said. The 38-year-old sedan driver from Hackensack wasn't injured. There was no immediate word on possible summonses.

Fair Lawn Motorcyclist, 64, Stable After Head-On Crash
A 64-year-old Fair Lawn motorcyclist was reported in stable condition after his bike was struck head-on by a sedan Friday night. Both vehicles were coming from opposite directions on Fair Lawn Avenue when the 19-year-old BMW 5 series driver – also from Fair Lawn – tried making a left onto southbound Plaza Road around 10:15 p.m. Friday, Sgt.
