A 67-year-old Randolph man convicted of a lesser charge in a child sex assault trial was sentenced in Morristown on Wednesday to seven years in state prison. Superior Court Judge Stephen J. Two Passaic nightclub employees were convicted of participating in the video-recorded gang rape of a dancer during an after-hours party. Jurors in Paterson on Friday found both dancer Trystal Lozada, 27, and manager Michael Ramirez, 38, guilty of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and criminal sexual contract for the Nov. 5, 2012 attack at Mr. B’s Gentlemen’s Club. Jurors in Morristown convicted the former owner of a defunct martial arts school on Friday of molesting an 11-year-old girl – the third such case that he’d been involved in over a five-year span. A Warren County man who was charged with sexually assaulting a girl for five years since she was 12 had his teaching license revoked, state education officials said. Michael I. Levitt, of Washington, whose LinkedIn page said he worked at -- Katzenbach - New Jersey's School for the Deaf in Ewing -- was indicted on multiple charges of sexual assault, child endangerment and aggravated criminal assault in July 2017. A Nigerian man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for raping an unconscious woman in his basement apartment in Jersey City, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office said. Silver Iwuchukwu, 28, assaulted the unconscious 18-year-old woman in his basement apartment Oct. 29, 2017, authorities said. The assault was captured on surveillance video. A New Jersey priest who admitted sexually abusing a young girl was sentenced Monday to a plea-bargained four years in state prison. Fr. Thomas P. Ganley, 64, of Phillipsburg admitted abusing the girl from when she was 14 until she was 17, beginning in 1990, while he was a priest at St. Cecelia Church in the Iselin section of Woodbridge. A former Jersey City charter school teacher who admitted having sex with an eighth-grade girl at what was then her Lyndhurst home must serve at least four years and three months in state prison before she’ll be eligible for parole. A Jersey City man was sentenced to 15 years in prison Friday on charges he distributed child pornography online and sexually assaulted a child, the state Attorney General's office said Friday.
