Three Paterson Residents Committed Check Fraud: Denville PD
A trio from Paterson were arrested and charged on Wednesday, April 10 with passing bad checks in Morris County, police said.
Officers investigated a report of check fraud at a local bank, Denvile police said in a release. The investigation led to the arrest of Oliver Hall, 51, Ramon Olivo-Olivia, 46 and Marilyn Morel-Diaz, police said.
They were charged with bad checks, conspiracy and unlawful taking of moveable property, police said. Morel-Diaz was also charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Plinio Junior Pineda Lopez, 33, of Oakland and Lorendy Diaz Beltre De Inoa, 27, of Yonkers were arrested with 1.5 kilos of fentanyl in Wallington, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Philip R. Sellinger said Wednesday.

Former Philadelphia Eagles safety Patrick Chung was charged Monday with assault and battery on a family member, multiple news reports say.
The 34-year-old athlete, who also played for the New England Patriots, was released on $10,000 bail Tuesday following the incident outside of a Milton, Mass. home Monday, CBS4 reports.

A Warren County man was under the influence when he hit three vehicles — two of them head-on — after swerving on Route 46, authorities charged.
Kevin M. Thorpe, 36, was driving westbound when he crossed the double yellow lines and side-swiped a Nissan traveling eastbound near the intersection of Mount Olive Road shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, Mount Olive police said.

Paramus police nabbed an identity thief as she tried to flee a Route 17 bank with $3,500 that she'd just pulled from a victim’s account, authorities said.
Responding to a call, Officers Michael Boccher, Gregg Hooper and Officer David Polanco seized Chelsea D. Colson, 29, outside the Citibank branch Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said Wednesday.
