Five million of those voters showed up early and in person, the lab said. Just over 2 million of those voters are Republicans, and 1.5 million are Democrats, according to the lab.
New Jersey hasn't had that option — until now.
On Saturday, Oct. 26, early, in-person voting will open across the Garden State.
As of press time, 343,992 New Jersey Democrats mailed in the ballots, while 114,871 Republicans did the same.
