Officers Matthew Kloo, Kevin Canova and Stephen Braikovich stopped 24-year-old ex-con Tyler Kenyon of West Milford and Nicole Corcoran, 25, of Hamburg in their car on Oak Ridge Road just before 9 p.m. Monday, Police Chief Timothy Storbeck said.
Nearby, they found a BB gun that Storbeck said was used to shoot the 27-year-old victim several times in the torso. He was taken to Chilton Hospital with injuries that the chief said weren't life-threatening.
Kenyon was ordered held on $100,000 bail in the Passaic County Jail, charged with two counts of aggravated assault and various weapons offenses -- including being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Corcoran -- who Storbeck said hit the victim with the pool stick -- was released without bail pending court action on charges of simple assault and two weapons counts, the chief said.
