Angel Rabelo - who police charged in March with violating a restraining order -- had a fresh hand injury caused by the broken glass when police found him around 6 a.m. Tuesday on Hannibel Place, Police Capt. Kenneth Fackina said.

They charged him with burglary, stalking, menacing, simple assault and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A short time earlier, police met with the victim, who told them that a light shining in his window woke him before he heard banging on the glass and a loud crash, Fackina said.

Rabelo then "reached through and pushed over a TV while threatening to assault the man" before running off, he said.

The victim told police "he was dating an ex-girlfriend of Rabelo and stated he believed this was the cause of the incident,' the captain said.

Rabelo already faced several charges in various jurisdictions over the course of less than eight months.

He was free on bail from the February Wanaque arrest when Wayne police chaged Rabelo with carying heroin, marijuana and other contraband during a mid-April traffic stop.

Two weeks later, Ringwood police charged him in a home invasion robbery and assault.

This time, a judge ordered Rabelo held on $17,000 bail in the Passaic County Jail pending a court appearance.
