Holmdel Station detectives initially arrested Dennis R. Perry, 33, of Howell Township, on Sept. 1 after a woman called them from the Monmouth Service Area the morning of Aug. 27h  Perry, alone and shirtless in a BMW 330 convertible, was parked next to her, masturbating, she said.

She identified him from a photograph, said NJSP Sgt. Stephen Jones.

Once State Police released information of Perry’s arrest — including photos published locally — two more complainants came forward.

One reported an incident within a half hour of the first. Another said she witnessed similar behavior in the PNC Bank Arts Center bus parking lot on March 3, the day pre-sale tickets were being distributed for the summer concert season. That jibed with several calls received that day of a man masturbating in a Subaru Impreza, Jones said.

A state trooper tracked down the vehicle, found Perry behaving normally and gave him a ticket for driving while on the suspended list, the sergeant said.

State Police detectives are trying to determine whether Perry is connected to a July 9 report of a man in a white Ford pickup attempting to lure females to his truck at the Monmouth Service Area. They ask that anyone with information about this incident to contact them at the Holmdel Station: 732.441.4550.
